A couple of months ago,
I wrote: "I'm chilled or freezing much of the time--not one of my brighter ideas doing this going into the winter". Since then, however, I've noticed a frequent warm cozy feeling on my insides, and it couldn't come at a better time. You see, I am a complete cold weather wimp. I grew up in upstate New York, which isn't exactly the coldest of places, but we had our share of below 20 degrees F. I have poor circulation in my hands, and on any such day they would hurt constantly, even if I was inside, to the point where I would think, forever briefly, of cutting them off. Anyone that has been "chilled to the bone" might appreciate being "warmed to the bone", and this is what whisky is doing for me now during the coldest time of the year. I know this is a
false, deceptive warmth, due to increased blood flow closer to the skin and irritated organ membranes, but the deeply pleasant feeling is real enough--besides, rerouted blood flow and stimulated membranes are the same mechanisms behind sex, so how bad can it be?

● Several handfuls of Snyder's buffalo wing pretzels
● Spaghetti w/ sauce, 2 turkey meatballs, grated parmesan, & 2 small slices of garlic bread
● 4 slices roast beef & pepperoncini
● Small slice banana bread
What I consumed Thursday -- 187 lbs (-42) [11X]:
● 2 drinkwel multivitamins
● Coffee w/ 20 g Syntrax Matrix Chocolate protein powder
● 3.66 oz Napoleon Smoked Mussels w/ 3 Walkers Highland Oatcakes crackers
● 4.5 oz Old Crofter Scotch
● 2 bowls taco-seasoned ground beef w/ lettuce & grated cheddar
● 2 slices roast beef & pepperoncini
● .5 bowl split pea soup w/ Honeybake ham (better than 8!)
